  1. been there done that, waste of money :)
  2. No, it is a pyramid scam. All these free things you think you will be getting are not free. You still have to pay a 'discounted' fee for just about everything. You will get a 'discount' on wills, traffic court representation.... Discounts, which are minimal and you could probably do better going thru a regular attorney. It is a pyramid because they are always trying to get other people to sell for them,,, if they do, then they get a percentage of what those people sell, so on and so on....
  3. I have found them to be pretty worthless. The only benefit would be the discounted rates IF there is an attorney in your plan that can provide the services you need.
  4. I agree with all three previous answers, but I also think that it's about as good as having life insurance, which is also a losing proposition. Each of these "policies" is costed based on "expected return" and your expecterd return is always going to be less than 1. That is, the expectation is that if you invest $100 in prepaid legal services, you will use LESS than that $100. It is the same as gambling. If you play roulette and bet on black, there is a SLIGHTLY less than 50% chance that the ball will land on black and double your money.
  5. I think an insurance policy requiring the insurer to defend you is a better buy. Prepaid legal services may provide you with advice; but you may do as well for free online. If you want to sue somebody, you may find that prepaid legal services are unsatisfactory.
  6. Its just scammers trying to make an easy buck im my opinion
