My current boyfriend has a baby on the way with another female, (long story), they live approx. 3 hours away from each other but she says she isnt going to put his name on his birth certificate.. she also says that she won't let the baby come stay with him bc it's too far away.. He doesn't know what he can do, and can't afford to pay for a DNA test to prove that he is his right now. The baby is due within the next month or so.. What can he do or who can he contact?? Is there somewhere that can help with funds for a DNA test also??????

Child support enforcement. They will help you with anything you need to do to establish paternity. Once that is done they will help with visitation and child support payments.

If he wants to establish paternity he can file to amend the birth certificate once the child is born. Keep in mind the courts will force the mother to bring the baby in for testing but that will be used against him to pay child support, Once the test results come back they will decide what percentage of his salary will be deducted. Let him do this as soon as the baby is born because if she gets any kind of state help and if he is proven the father they will get a judgement against him for any money that the state put out and he will have to pay it back regardless if it is fault or not l
if he wants the baby then he has to establish he is the father. is she saying she wants money but doesnt want a DNA test done and she wont let him see the child? if so then she cannot make him pay without proof the child is his and she cannot restrict him from seeing the child unless he is abusive
