Do lawyers really get angry at other lawyers?

I have seen lawyers talk to other lawyers as if they were angry at each other… especially in the courtroom then go back and shake hands and it’s as if they were friends again. What’s going on… do lawyers really get angry at other lawyers or is this strategy for clients favor.

That's part of their job...Advocating for their client...It's just like sports, football for example you hit each other REALLY hard but shake hands after the game.
Are you just now realizing it's all a racket? Anyone hear about the small town with one starving lawyer? Another lawyer moved to town and they both got rich! .
Of course, some lawyers got angry at other lawyers, esp. if they have different client in same case. Not all lawyer practice what the've learned, instead of being a law maker some are breaking the laws, that's why not all lawyers are good to each other.
I videotape depositions for a living and I'd have to say that mainly it's all for the sake of sportsmanship. They get a little heated at the proper moments, but most are professionals and have it all under control. Of course there are those nutty ones, which are your run of the mill insecure assholes who are already mad at the world, that will flat out be mean to everyone without any regard or respect. These are few and far between from my experience, but when I encounter them, and they get into verbal assaults against opposing council, it's generally pretty sincere. I love my job!
