When will we stop allowing lawyers to become politicians due to conflict of interest?

They create ridiculous laws so that more lawyers are needed. They create bills with ridiculous language so that only lawyers can understand them.

1. You are a voter, aren't you? Politicians who happen to be lawyers don't just get magically placed in Congress.
2. It's because our society is overly complex...We're not living in the 60's anymore so there has to be a lot of legal crap written into law. The problem occurs when it's badly written, which is probably most of the time...
