Copy of Form I-129 missing lawyers signature. Is it okay to go ahead with the H1b stamping interview?
My H1b has been approved, I have the i94 card and the original form I-797. I just noticed that the copy of my petition docs are missing the lawyers signature. This was because our lawyer is located elsewhere. My employer finished the paperwork, signed it, took copies and then shipped them to the lawyer. I will be in Mumbai next week, for my stamping. Is this a serious issue?

- Call your lawyer. You can send it to him through e-mail, print it, scanned and sign and e-mail it back to you.
- I travel quite often due to my work. I hired an attorney 200 miles away from where my charges were regarding my case. The attorney did a horrible job after I paid him a lot of money. I later fired him and hired a local attorney in the EXACT county where I was charged. Since this attorney was local and knew the system. I would suggest first calling the lawyer to have this corrected immediately and of it does not happen I would get a local lawyer or a specialist to handle the situation. Lawyers are paid well to not make these kind of mistake.. On the other hand the lawyer may sign them once they receive them back. http://www.pinellasduilawyer.net
