Legal Advice?

Im trying to figure out if i can do something. I was working at this place for about a month, I put in my time sheets through the computer every end of the week. I had a check that was supposed to be comming in the mail. I never recieved my check. I called and told the people who were supposed to be issuing it and they said to give it 7 days. So I did it went passed the 7 days and I called again, they told me they would put a stop to it and re issue and it should be in the mail. Still another week goes by. I dont recieve my check. I call again and they tell me they are going to put a stop to the check and that i can pick in up next week. I am late on many bills due to the fact I didnt get my check. Is there anything that I could do. They obviously arnt doing there job. Because if they did, I would have got my check.
