How can Prepaid Legal Services help with credit debt settlement?
I have a total of about 36000 $ in credit card debts. Do anyone have an idea how to settle the debt for at least 10-20 % of what owe?

- If your accounts are current, then credit card companies have no incentive to settle for less...If credit card companies offered settlements to people who are current on their payments, then everyone would be calling them up and asking for 50% settlements. Basically, the only way you can get into a position to negotiate settlements is to deliberately let your accounts go into default....which involves a lot of risk. If you have already defaulted and the cards are charged-off but still with the original creditor, 50% is about right for a settlement.
- To settle that amount of debt you would need a professional debt settlement company. You need to be really careful about the company you choose. Many debt settlement companies take advantage of people and make their situation worse. In order to avoid this do a little research. Make sure that any company you use is a member of TASK (the association of settlement companies). Also check with BBB and see the reviews consumers have given them. Settlement companies can settle to about 50% of your debt, so long as it is credit card debt. Keep in mind these companies do charge fees for their services.
