  1. Get on the websight for the base you are going to, or any base will do. Look for the number to the JAG, Judge Advicate General, office and call them. They can help.
  2. Usually there is an Area Defense Counsel or some base legal on any military instillation. Also try these web sites: http://www.militarytimes.com/community/ask_lawyer/ http://www.military.com/benefits/legal-matters/legal-assistance
  3. You are not a military member yet. You can not call the air force for help yet, sorry. Civilian Attorney is your only option.
  4. Since you're not even in the active military yet, you're not eligible for legal assistance. (USAF Ret)
  5. Call the nearest base to you and ask for the base legal office...technically, they do not have to help you since you are not active duty but if they have time, most will. One caveat, is this legal situation something that could affect your enlistment? If it is, you are better off going to a civilian atty.
  6. You cannot talk to any Air Force lawyer, your not in the military yet. Tell your recruiter or contact MEPS. The sooner you bring the issue foward, the sooner you can get the Air Forces take on it. It would be a shame, to get 89% thru basic, then have the Air Force find out, and give you a fraudulent enlistment discharge, because you didn't wanna tell your recruiter. Air Force recruiters don't have quatoas anymore, so why would he give bad advise ? He has more people wanting to enlist, than he can actually enlist right now.
