Ok i live in australia and am in a defacto relationship with someone and rent a 3 bedroom home for 250p/w. My partner signed a lease agreement and paid the bond as well as two weeks of rent in advance. . not long after we moved in the roof started to leak and and ruined our $2000 plasma tv. My partner received electrical burns to her hand and resulted in taking 3 weeks off work. what legal action can i take?
