The owner asked if I intended to pay for a professional cleaner and "implied" this could permanently ruin her piano. I am looking for some legal advice concerning something I found in my beverage from a restaurant? I purchased a hot beverage from a restaurant. After it cooled I was drinking it and found a piece of plastic tubing. The tube was about an inch in length and one end was cut at a slant. I was lucky not to cut my mouth, let alone swallow it. Legal Advice? My cousin was arrested for being an accomplice to theft. He was charged with a felony crime. Instead of bail or staying in county lock up, he was let go on O.R. (own recognizance). He has a trial date for early April for arraignment. At this trial, will he do jail time when sentenced? Legal advice??? I recently flew from Houston Texas to Birmingham Alabama on a stand by flight. I checked my luggage and waited to board the plane only to find out that there were no more seats avaliable. I ended up catching the morning flight out. Well my lugagge was sent on the first flight and when I landed in Alabama my luggage was not there and the baggage claim people said that they never recieved it and it was not in Texas. Legal advice?? In august I was stupid and took out a payday loan. I had an emergency that caused me to travel out of state. In september when it was due, my husband had to be rushed into the hospital, and I had experienced bad fraud on my bank account. I called the loan place and asked what I could do. I realize that I have a debit that needs to be paid, I just couldn't pay it then. They told me there was nothing to be done. They'd cash the check. I had rent due and everything. So, I paid the bank $30 and put a block payment on the check. I called the loan place and told them that I'm more than willing to make payments on the amount owed. They gave me some outrageous payment plan and told me that they're going to keep on cashing the check. Since then, my spouse has lost his job and we've been having extreme financial difficulty. I check the my account to day and the loan place electronically deposited the check and put in the wrong check # on purpose. Is that legal? Is that fraud?

Legal Advice? A leak destroyed wood in my kitchen. It was replaced. The leak was never fixed and I am being told that there is no leak. I would like some advice on what to do from here. Legal Advice!!!!? I'm thinking of suing someone. In 2002, I co-signed on a car loan application with a "friend." Needless to say, the"friend" did'nt make the payments and, wound up losing the car. I'm want to sue because, I had made payments on the car, and becuase, this "friend" had acquired tickets on it. Legal Advice? My husband and I bought a used BMW 6 months ago with your standard 30 day warranty on engine and drivetrain. The second day we had it the transmission was slipping out of gear. legal advice? we just moved out from an apartment building. The lease term we agreed for that apatn=ment was fir 6 months. The welcome note of that lease agreement was written for 6 months. But after that when the document was typed error was made and it was written for 12 months. WE didnt notice that at that time and we moved in after signing the document. Legal Advice? My husband works for a powercleaning company that cleans the outside of steel mills. He recently went to a nose specialist who told him that he had an infection in his nose and to stay out of the metal-dust that is produced by a seell mill. The bosses at his work are making him work in these conditions, and its not giving his nose a chance to heal. He asked his nose specialist for a note to tell his employers to temporalily not have him work in these conditions till his nose heals, about 2 weeks or so. His employers are trying to tell him that if he turns in this note, they are going to take him off the payroll...can they do this? My husband had a credit card go to a collection service, they worked out an agreement that he would pay X amount up front, he then gave them check numbers to take out $100 every 2 weeks for around 6 months, at which time they would call back to see if he could settle. Yesterday my dog got loose and my stepuncle piced the dog up and punched and kikd him then grabed him by the neck and i told him to to put the dog down and called him a scumbag the i went home without the dog a because he let the dog run away and the dog was scared then when i went inside he came inside and was sreaming in my face saying thing like im gunna have my friend beat you up being im only 15 and he is 30.THen he started spitting in my face and i told him to get out of my face then i when he kept spiitng in my face a pushed him then he said hes pressing charges so then he gat a great idea to get back in my face to tell the police i hit him again ause he was spiting after that i walked away and he decides to spit and yell and get about 2 inches from my face so i spit in his then he left and said he was telling the cops which he nvr did during this he broke my front door What would happen if i repoted him to my school because i dnt want him living here. I work for a small charity and one employee went off sick months ago, never sends in sick notes, ignores any letters we send to ask how she is or when she might come back, made an appointment for her to come in and have a chat, I heard nothing. The people I bought it off said it was in perfect working order, but after a few days of use it stopped working. I got it checked out and the technition said the motherboard had died. I asked the people I bought it off to either return my money or replace the motherboard and now they are flat out refusing to do anything. They said they sold it to me in good condition and that it's now my problem. I have been waiting for a refund of $5,000 from a computer company for a computer that I bought which did not work. I sent it back for the 30-day money back guarantee. Legal Advice? I have an In-home daycare and I was watching two kids for afew months. The state was paying for most of the childcare and the mother was to pay the remaining balance, well she took off without paying her bill. With late fees the bill is $2,800. She offered to pay $30 a month. It would take her over 7 years to pay the bill off. Do I have to settle for that or can I take her to small claims so I can get it done and over with and not have to wait 7 years? I charged $3 an hour per child. It was for night and weekend care. The reason it ended up to be so much was because she took off with no notice and my policy says that you have to pay for the two weeks if your child is there or not. I also have in my policy that there is a $10 a day late fee. I have not watched her children since July. She was in California but I just found out that she moved back. I know she doesn't have the money. Months ago I tried to work out a payment plan and she said she couldn't guarantee me anything and I didn't hear from her until recently. If I will in small claims, I can have her wages garnished. I am will to work with her, but $30 a month is not reasonable to me and in the past when she said she was going to pay me she never called and never showed up.
